OUR MISSION
Maintaining the highest moral, ethical, and professional
standards in delivering comprehensive, quality, safe, and effective
cosmetic and reconstructive services to our patients, in a caring
and hospitable environment.
Our Vision
Putting quality and concern for patients first while maintaining
a thriving, evolving, technologically advanced plastic surgery practice
addressing the health needs of the body, mind, and spirit and enhancing
the lives of our patients, staff, and community.
Why Surgery
For many, the person in the mind's eye and the person in the
mirror (or the image projected to others) bears scant resemblance to each other.
The reflection in the mirror shows someone who looks tired, old,
out of shape, or depressed, while in reality the individual feels vibrant,
youthful, and fit. Contemporary
plastic surgery encompasses a variety of surgical and non-surgical
technologies to enhance and "unmask" the natural beauty within.
Let
me introduce myself: I am a board certified
plastic surgeon who has been in solo practice since 1991. My practice
encompasses both cosmetic and reconstructive procedures. I earned
my undergraduate degree from Harvard University and medical degree
from Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. I received
both my General Surgery and Plastic Surgery residency training at
Columbia-Presbyterian Medical Center in New York City, and completed
a Craniofacial Surgery Fellowship at the University of Miami.
I am a member of the American Society of Plastic
Surgeons, John Staige Davis Society of Plastic Surgeons, National
Medical Association, and other prestigious medical societies and
associations. Hospital affiliations include: Howard County Hospital,
Northwest Hospital, St. Agnes Hospital and
Outpatient Surgical Center in Ellicott City, and Union Memorial
Hospital.
I believe that the best results and patient satisfaction
are obtained when patient education and realistic expectations
are partnered with professional knowledge and expertise. Both I
and my staff work to assure that adequate information and support
is available to every patient throughout each stage of the consultative,
procedural and post-procedural periods, so that the experience
is a positive one. Although located in the Baltimore-DC area, many
of my patients come from such distant places as Florida, New York,
the Caribbean and Europe.
